What is dyslexia?

Dyslexia is both a specific learning difference. It can be viewed as a syndrome since children may exhibit a range of symptoms. The most common include challenges with reading and writing, working memory, learning a second language, and difficulties with vocabulary, grammar, narrative speech, and, as well as issues in subjects like math. Typically, these children excel in drawing and demonstrate high levels of creativity. Approximately 10% of the global population is affected. It is thought to have a genetic component, as many families multiple cases. Each year, there are also misdiagnoses, meaning some children appear to have dyslexia but do not. But why? This is because, while all children with dyslexia struggle with reading, not all children who have reading difficulties are dyslexic.
