My approach
For twenty years, I have supported children aged 0 to 16, focusing on early intervention and proactive developmental support. I believe that addressing developmental challenges early on can significantly improve a child's confidence and learning potential, and daily functioning.
I adopt a comprehensive psychological approach, considering the child's developmental profile, cognitive strengths, and environmental factors. My practice is fully aligned with the principles of GIRFEC (Getting it right for every child), ensuring a holistic and supportive framework for every developmental stage.
My process involves individual developmental profiling, behavioural observations, and qualitative reviews to understand the underlying factors behind a child's difficulties. I provide practical, evidence-based strategies regarding executive functioning, attention, learning, and social-emotional well-being. Drawing on my background, I also offer structured parent guidance and educational support to help foster each child's developmental potential.
